The major focus of Advanced Materials and Devices, Inc. (AMAD) is on research and development of industry-leading “smart” materials and devices. The efforts are concentrated on applications related to controlling vibration and shock mitigation. Some examples of controllable vibration and shock mitigation devices include: automotive shock absorbers, weapons recoil systems, seismic building & bridge dampers, industrial and automotive clutches, as well as aircraft landing gear shock absorbers. AMAD manufactures and supplies proprietary sensitive elements required for the devices to strategic partners who manufacture and distribute the devices to the military, automotive, aerospace, and industrial equipment markets.
